About us
The firm of Dewar Spence undertakes all work in the Sheriff and JP Courts in Scotland and is regularly involved in work in the High Court.
The firm is authorised by the Scottish Legal Aid Board to undertake both civil and criminal legal aid work.
All private civil and criminal work undertaken as well as agency instructions.
Our Team
Dewar Spence qualified from the University of Dundee in 1984 with an honours degree in law and a Diploma in Legal Practice. He trained in a firm in Leven, remaining there to partner status before starting his own firm in 1992.
He continues to be involved in all levels of Court actions and works.
Outwith work, he coaches rugby locally.
The office staff are all trained to meet the Law Society of Scotland's needs for money laundering and client care.
