The firm of Dewar Spence began on 01 May 1992 at 289 High Street, Lower Methil, Leven, Fife. After a period of expansion between 1994 and 2000 the firm of Dewar Spence was reborn, still trading from 289 High Street, Lower Methil, then moving to the current offices at 260 High Street. Lower Methil. 

One of the first Fife firms to offer a "Court only" service to clients in both civil and criminal work, the firm has continued doing only this work, thus ensuring a high quality of service for clients. 

We still offer only Court-based work for clients. We are authorised by the Scottish Legal Aid Board to undertake both criminal and civil legal aided work.

We try to offer a free, brief meeting to assess if you have a case.  This depends on the nature of the case and if you have already had advice. All fees and availability for legal aid can be discussed at any stage in your case.
